iOS Alpha Test Officially Started: On the Road to Beta
I’m excited to announce that the iOS alpha test phase has officially begun.
After completing the core feature development and preparing the testing environment, it’s finally time to start the alpha testing phase for AI Pawkedex on iOS.
What alpha test means
Alpha testing is the first internal testing phase that precedes the public beta. During this phase:
- In-depth internal testing: we verify that all features work correctly on iOS devices
- Performance optimizations: we improve app performance and efficiency
- Bug resolution: we identify and fix any issues before the beta
- UX refinement: we perfect the user experience to ensure maximum quality
Towards iOS beta
At the end of the alpha test phase, once we’ve validated the app’s stability and performance, we’ll make the public beta for iOS available through TestFlight.
The beta will be accessible to all interested users and will represent the final step before the official App Store release.
What to expect from iOS beta
The beta version will include all the core features already available on Android:
- Sign in with Apple and Google: quick and secure access
- AI animal analysis: instant identification from photos
- Coins system: balance between free and premium coins
- Retro interface: nostalgic retro-style design
- Native iOS design: optimized for iPhone and iPad
Timeline
The alpha testing process will take some time to ensure maximum quality. Once completed:
- Alpha test (in progress): internal testing and optimizations
- Public beta: distribution via TestFlight
- Official release: publication on the App Store
